MIRACLES

Last year, the Monument Fire devastated some of the canyons in the Huachuca Mountains.  Among the areas leveled by fire was "Our Lady of the Mountains."   During this time, Facebook provided up-to-the minute reports on the fire's location, evacuations, and other pertinent information.  All of us kept asking, was the cross still standing.  All we could see was smoke and flames.  Miraculously, this wooden cross stood amidst the charred landscape.  That news brought tears and hope to so many of us here in Cochise County.  A year later, the chapel is being rebuilt.  Sometimes miracles do happen.
