The old adage, "A picture is worth a thousand words," is so true. But if we can relate the things around us to God's word, then it becomes priceless. Not because of the photographer, but because of the glory that the Creator of the universe so lovingly bestows, if we take the time to just stop and look.

I know you took this shot in Germany, right? It looks like here right now. I am blessed beyond blessed by the scripture application, I know I wrote a devotional a while back about the properties of snow, and used this scripture. It really is an amazing thing how everything belongs to God, and there is so much more in a word of His than we might take at face value, as good as THAT is, He is always more, so much more.
It could almost be here in Arizona right now ... we're getting a winter storm. But yes, it was taken from my kitchen window.
Yes, I love that scripture as well. It is our only hope.
Beautiful pic. I love your blog.
That verse is so precious to me! Snow sure does cover up a lot. I'm glad God does too.
Valerie and Debbie ... thanks so much for your comments. I do love using photos of snow since I don't get the opportunity to take many now.
This is a beautiful picture, Francine. And a wonderful passage to go with it. Hope you are doing well.
