Cherished
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:26, NIV
The old adage, "A picture is worth a thousand words," is so true. But if we can relate the things around us to God's word, then it becomes priceless. Not because of the photographer, but because of the glory that the Creator of the universe so lovingly bestows, if we take the time to just stop and look.

I adore this little bird perched upon God's promise of care!
Brrrr it looks cold there....and the name of the bird I should know...we don't have them "down Under" I love its colours...
Oh just thought of what the bird is .... A Cardinal..I think !!!
Hey Carol ... yeah, that's what I thought at first. But, it's a Vermillion Flycatcher and this, of course, is the male. We are really getting into watching the birds here and I'm excited as we are approaching spring and hanging up bird feeders.
And, yes, it was COLD here.
What an excellent photograph and verse pairing!! I love it. Even when life seems bleak, God always provides. His grace is more beautiful than even this creation of His. THANK YOU for the reminder. :)
Tanya, I'm so glad you visited both my blogs ... thank you so much for your kind comments.
That flycatcher outdresses our modest robin ! Hope it enjoys frozen meals - there can't be that many insects about when the woolies are required.
